In 2012, the Dahlonega Women’s Club began the Scarecrow Stomp, a county wide installation of community made scarecrows. They ran the event for 8 years, growing to over 130 scarecrows in the last year.

In 2024, we are bringing the scarecrows back to Dahlonega. We are using Hancock Park, located just off the public square to display our creations this year. A scarecrow show, of Scares on the Square.
